VOICE NARRATION FAMILY HISTORY APPROACH

Rainbow Video takes great pride in capturing the beauty of your old photographs and making them come alive to tell the history of your family.   We will record the voice of the appropriate family member telling the stories represented in their photographs, thereby preserving for the future the history of the generations remembered.  Here is how it works:

Pre-Production:
We will send you an outline which explains how to select and organize your photos.  We will also send you a list of questions designed to help prepare for the voice narration recording of memories and  stories.  You will be surprised at how a few simple questions will trigger the memories long forgotten.  This information should be reviewed prior to our session by the family member who will be recorded.

Production:
When your family member is ready, we will set up a meeting at our location (4 hrs.) to review your selection of photos, documents etc., along with the memories or stories associated with them.  During this meeting we will record the "voice over" narration as the family member looks at the photos.

Post Production:
This package includes up to 12 hours post production time.  This time includes scanning photos and other material (3 hrs.), animating your scanned flat art materials (3 hrs.), adding digital effects, adding any text graphics, incorporating any provided video tape, and combining it with the "voice over" narration and music from Rainbow’s library (6 hrs.).

Deliverables:
We will provide you with 2 VHS copies plus a bonus CD ROM of all scanned photos and flat art documents.   We will also store a digital MiniDV Edited Master Video Tape in our library for safe keeping.
